We are currently changing telephone provider, our new phone lines will be ready next week (13/1/20)
Our installation teams are comprised of skilled carpenters with many years’ experience in the kitchen industry.
The first part of this service is your kitchen survey. Our surveyor will visit you at the property to measure the room. This allows us to ensure the kitchen will be manufactured to fit and any potential irregularities are accounted for. Sometimes this will be a replacement of an existing kitchen sometimes a building site of where a new kitchen is to be placed.
The installation team will visit your property following the delivery of your kitchen and complete a full ‘dry-fit’ service of you all your cabinetry along with any wooden worktops. We will place all appliances into the assigned cabinetry. Prior to the fit you must ensure that your floor is fitted and level, all walls and plastering is completed and fully dry and that your “first fix” plumbing and electricity are located in the correct positions.
Stone worktops are usually templated following the installation of your cabinetry. If purchased through TSW this will be booked along with your delivery and installation dates. The template takes between 1-3 hours and 7-10 days later your worktops will be installed. If you haven’t specified where you want details such as upstands, drainer grooves and splashbacks now is the time to do so. On the day of stone worktop installation this takes approximately 3-5 hours on average.
After the cabinetry and worktop installation you will require a plumber to visit to connect any water related goods (sinks, taps, water fed fridges, etc.) and an electrician to connect your electrical appliances (ovens, hobs, extractors, etc.).
Delivery
We deliver nationwide and offer several delivery packages based on your location and the type of delivery service you need.
Our Bronze Service is the most cost-effective option. This is a kerbside delivery. Silver Service is normally quoted when we are installing and includes delivery to a ground floor kitchen but packaging is not removed. Gold service will get your kitchen up to a second floor/basement and Platinum Service is the same as Gold but we’ll also remove and dispose of any packaging of your new kitchen cabinets.
Please consider that we will require parking or parking vouchers, and also that it is the customer’s responsibility to check that your doorways are wide enough to get the kitchen cabinets inside – particularly four door larder cabinets and any corner cabinets. If your house has particularly small doorways, it’s important you let is know well in advance. Most standard size doorways should be absolutely fine.
